About RayMeet & Greet
Ray
Dogs – Let's meet! (slow and steady wins him over)
Cats – A no for this guy
Kids – 12 and up
Ray spent years being somebody's entire world, and through no fault of his own, he lost that home and found his way back to us. Ask him, and he'll tell you he's ready to be somebody's whole world all over again. He's a smart, busy-brained guy who lights up for a good squeaky ball, loves a long sniffy walk, and already has his "sit" down pat. He's happiest with a person to adore and something to keep his mind working.
Here's the honest scoop on what he needs. Ray does best with a little company built into his day. That doesn't mean anyone has to be around every minute! A work-from-home human, a retiree with time to share, or a family that plans ahead with a midday dog walker, some daycare, or a trusted sitter would all be perfect for him. The one thing Ray can't do is spend long hours completely on his own with no backup. That's really the only box that needs checking, and everything else about him is the easy part.
Ray would love a calm, low-key home with kids twelve and up. Cats are a no for this guy, but dog siblings are absolutely possible, we just take those introductions nice and slow.
Ray is looking for someone to orbit. Could that be you? Because there's nothing he'd love more than being your ray of sunshine.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
