Archie is a big, silly Lab mix who's bursting with love and puppy energy. He's 67 pounds of joy, goofiness, and "look what I can do!" energy.
At just over a year old, Archie is still figuring out how to be a grown-up dog, and he's doing a great job! He's friendly, playful, and always ready to make new friends. Like most young retrievers, Archie would love a home where he can get plenty of playtime, walks, and gentle guidance as he learns. He already knows sit and has been working hard on polite mealtime manners, leave it, and trading for treats. What a smart boy!
Archie can get excited and forget his manners sometimes, but that's just part of being a young dog with a big heart and a busy brain. He'll do best with someone who sees training as a fun way to bond, build trust, and help him shine. Archie will do best in a home with kids 16 and up, where everyone can understand his space around meals and special items while he keeps learning.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
