About BrooklynMeet & Greet
Brooklyn
Dogs – Yes, let's meet!
Cats – Not a good fit
Kids – Yes, ages 12+
Brooklyn is a real sweetie who has been with her previous family since she was a puppy. Unexpected circumstances led her here, and now this affectionate girl is looking for a lucky family to smother with love.
It really doesn't take much to make this girl light up. She's a sucker for a good treat, and peanut butter, strawberries, and salmon top the list. She's just as content stretched out next to you on the couch with a toy nearby. Brooklyn's lived with young kids and another dog before, so she already has that experience already under her collar. She's housebroken and perfectly happy to hang on her own, as long as she's got a toy to keep her busy or the TV on for company. She's a big fan of PBS.
Brooklyn can be a bit shy and needs slow intros to new people and environments. She likes to take her time to feel safe and build a friendship, so a patient adopter who will read her cues would be a wonderful match. While she works on her confidence, a home where kids are 12 or older would be ideal.
This beautiful, darling girl has so much love to give, and she's just waiting to hand all of it to the right person. Come spend some time with her and see what we mean.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
