About QueenieMeet & Greet
Queenie
Dogs – Meet & Greet
Cats – Not a good fit
Kids – Queenie's most comfortable with grown-ups
Say hello to Queenie, the funniest girl in the building. She's terrified of spray cheese, she'll run through every trick she knows for a single marshmallow, and she becomes an absolute professional the second a bathtub is involved. She's five, her personality is the size of Indiana, and once she decides you're her person, that's it. You're hers.
Queenie's love is the quiet, loyal kind. She's not going to fling herself at you the moment you walk in the door. She's more of an "I'll settle in nearby and keep you company on my own terms" kind of girl, and there's something really special about a dog who chooses you. She's housebroken, and she'd love to be somebody's one and only in a calm, cozy home.
Here's what we're proud of. Queenie has been working hard on her greetings with other dogs, and she's making real progress! Our team recently had some sweet, slow, nose-to-nose introductions with her, and she showed us just how much she can do when someone sets her up to win. That's Queenie all over. She just needs someone willing to move at her pace.
She has waited a long time for the person who sees exactly how good she is. If you've got a patient heart and a quiet home with room for one deeply devoted girl, Queenie would love to show you what a marshmallow can buy!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
