Lucy Ravenpaw
Dogs: Big-dog buddies welcome! She's a daycare regular who loves group play and does best with friends her own size.
Cats: Yes
Kids: Best in an adults-only home
If joy had a mascot, it might just be Lucy Ravenpaw. This happy hound does the most delightful little spin when she gets excited to play, and watching her zoom around the yard with her buddies is pure serotonin!
Lucy is a lovebug through and through. She melts for a good chin scratch, hands out gentle kisses to her favorite people, and she will absolutely negotiate for a bite of cheese if you've got it. She's a smart girl too, already fluent in sit, down, come, and stay, and she's a wonderful passenger whenever there's a car ride to be had.
Lucy loves big and bonds deeply, and she does her best in a calm, grown-up home where she can settle in slowly and give her heart to her people at her own pace. She's a daycare regular who lights up in group play, and in the past, she has coexisted beautifully with cat siblings once everyone's had a proper introduction. She also passed our cat test at the shelter.
If a sweet, spin-happy sidekick sounds like your kind of joy, and you can offer her the calm and patience she's been looking for, Lucy Ravenpaw would love to be your girl.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
