About LeiaMeet & Greet
Leia
Dogs – Let's meet!
Cats – Not a fan of felines
Kids – Yes
Leia has never met a stranger in her life. She wants to say hello to every person she passes, and once she reaches you, she leans right in and asks for pets like the two of you go way back.
She's also a certified genius. In her last home, Leia taught herself to open lever door handles and sliding glass doors, mostly so she could trot around the neighborhood introducing herself to the neighbors. Her next family will want to keep that big brain busy with walks, training games, and puzzle toys, because a smart girl like Leia is happiest when she has a job to do.
The rest of her resume is just as easy to love. She walks nicely on a flat collar or harness, settles into her crate without a fuss, and enjoys a good stuffie or ball when the mood strikes. If you have a dog at home, our team will set up a meet and greet to see if it's a match.
Leia has been waiting for someone worth leaning on. Stop by and let her show you how quickly you can become her favorite person!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
