Jaxon James
Dogs – Let's meet!
Cats – Not a fan of felines
Kids – Yes, 14+
Jaxon James carries two names because one was never going to be enough for all this personality! This boy is a people dog through and through. Expect a full-body wiggle every time you walk in the door and a snuggle buddy on the couch every night after. One of his past people told us he would curl up in their chair each afternoon and wait for them to come home from work. We can't imagine a sweeter welcome committee.
Fetch and tug are Jaxon's favorite games, and he loves showing off for a treat. He already knows sit, stay, shake, lie down, and more, so you get a head start on the fun stuff. Playtime can get a little extra exciting sometimes, and a quick reminder settles him right back down. Jaxon James is looking for a family who loves together time as much as he does, and if there is another dog in the home, we can set up a meet here at the shelter so everyone can get acquainted first.
If you have room in your chair, come meet him. That wiggle will do the rest!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
