About AuroraMeet & Greet
Aurora
Hey there! Do you know how I can find a permanent address? I am only 2-years-old and I've already lived with one owner, in the HSHC cattery, and now at the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC). I'm not complaining, as it is a cat's idea of heaven! There are tons of windows, an enormous tree to climb, so many cute cubbies in which to snooze, and lots of friendly people. But I would really like to settle down with a family. My owner surrendered me to the HSHC on 8-25-26 because he broke up with his girlfriend and had to move back home, but he couldn't take me.
I am a solid grey DSH female, already spayed and house trained. I used to be called Yasmine, but I like Aurora too. I have always been an affectionate girl, and I even enjoyed it when my owner held me on his shoulder. I lived with another cat, and we occasionally played together. Here at the SKCC, I have been entranced by the big tree with all the branches to climb. I often climb up and relax, watching all the activity on the floor. If I need anything, I have no problem letting my people know by "yelling". I also like those cat trees with different shelves and flat surfaces where I can stretch out and have people pet me. When the interviewer lady (IL) paused by my perch, I chirruped until she gave me a neck rub and chin scratch. Frankly, I would love to stay at the SKCC until I find my forever home. I have no complaints! I hope to see you very soon! 9-8-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
