Our groomers call him a doll baby, a guy who leans in for snuggles, hands out the best kisses around, and would happily trade a toy for a good belly rub any day of the week. He is more couch companion than wild child, just the right size for curling up next to on a quiet evening.
Tyson spent years as a cherished family dog, and it shows in how easily he befriends the people around him. He lived right alongside children of all ages and shared his home with a smaller pup, so he knows all about being part of a busy, happy home. He would happily meet any current dogs in the family to make sure everyone clicks, and he is at his very best when he gets to be your shadow.
He also has some bragging rights: Tyson is a proud graduate of the Paws & Think youth-canine program, where he spent his class time learning alongside local students. He passed with flying colors, and it's official, because his graduation certificate and blanket go home with him on adoption day.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
