Strawberry (in Foster)
Description Strawberry (in Foster)
Strawberry's Compatibility:
Dogs – Meet & Greet
Cats – No, thank you
Kids – Adult only home

Strawberry is three years old and an absolute delight. She is the kind of dog who makes you stop scrolling, who makes strangers smile, and who greets every day like it has real potential. She is playful, food motivated, and already housebroken. Peanut butter is very high on her list of favorite things. This girl learns fast and loves hard.

Strawberry really came alive in foster. She learned the routine, played hard, and curled up at the end of the day like she had always belonged there. That is the version of Strawberry we want people to see. Shelter life is hard on her, and it does not show her at her best.

She can take a little time to warm up to new people, so she may not act like your best friend five seconds after you meet her. She usually does best when people give her a little space, a little patience, and a little time to settle in. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and playful side really comes through.

She would love a home with all adults (18+) who can match her energy and respect her space as she gets comfortable. She would prefer not to share her home with a cat. She is perfectly happy being your one and only, but if you have a dog at home, bring them in and let our team set up a meet and greet to see if it is a good fit.

Strawberry is so ready for a home that sees her for who she is and gives her the chance to settle in, feel safe, and shine. Could you be her people?

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
