About SosaMeet & Greet
Sosa
Dogs – Yes
Cats – Not for this guy
Kids – Teens are more his speed (16 and up)
Sosa is a comeback story just waiting to be told. Life didn't start out kind for him, and he came into rescue having gone without a lot of the basics a dog should be able to count on. You'd never guess it now. He's bright-eyed, bouncy, quick to drop into a play bow, and he greets his people with a full-body wiggle and a lick to the face. Whatever he went through, he came out the other side still believing the world has good things in it, and that kind of resilience is a beautiful thing to watch.
He's whip-smart and food-motivated, which makes training him a joy. He'll sit before you've even finished scooping dinner, and he picks up new cues fast. Give this dog a job or a puzzle and you've got his whole heart.
The last person who loved him nailed it in five words: puppy energy in a big dog's body. He's a husky through and through, with strong opinions he'll share at volume, energy to burn, and a real gift for treating a fence as a mild suggestion. He needs a person who's up for daily adventures because a bored husky writes his own to-do list. Sosa will do best in an experienced, dog-savvy home, with someone who leads with a steady hand and a pocket full of treats. That's how you'll bring out the very best in him.
He's already proven he can survive just about anything. Now he's after the person who'll show him how it feels to thrive.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
