Fergie (at Smitten Kitten)
Hello. Are you here to take my picture? I'm awfully good-looking, wouldn't you agree? I'm known for being a bit of a diva, but when you have such a cute face in a small body, it garners some attention. I am one of the 10 cats transferred from a crowded shelter. After I passed my medical examination on August 21, I moved to the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC) to provide them with my beauty and charm. I have a few spots, usually on the wall, where I can nap, think, watch the goings on in the Cafe, and stay away from the other cats. I tend to get hissy when a cat gets in my way. I have never really accepted the fact that I myself am a cat. I much prefer humans who can read my body language. I have a rather short attention span when it comes to being petted and messed about with. I will let you know when I've had enough. I am a 2-year-old female DSH with a tan-and-cinnamon tabby coat. The HSHC medical staff told me I'm slightly overweight. Humph! I think I am perfect just the way I am. The photos on the shelter website do not do me justice. Why not come to the SKCC to see me in person? 8-26-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
