Are you there family?

It's me, Amazing Grace.

Dear Future Family,

My name is Amazing Grace, but you can call me whatever you like so long as it’s with love. I wanted to write to you and tell you a little about myself, and maybe, just maybe, find out a little about you too.

Firstly, let me say how excited I am at the mere thought of having a family to call my own. Shelter life is okay, but it’s nothing compared to having a warm home, a comfy bed, and most importantly, a family to love and be loved by.

You see, I’ve been preparing my whole life for the opportunity to prove my love but for almost two years, I’ve been waiting for a family.

You should know that I’m a pretty easy-going lady. I love long walks, playing tug, and snuggling up on the couch for movie nights. I’m also a bit of a foodie, so you’ll never have to worry about me being a picky eater! I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and know a few commands.

I do have a few quirks, like any good dog. I’m not a big fan of cats and prefer the company of young adults as opposed to children. Don’t get me wrong, kids are great, but I just can’t relate to them!

I know I’m not perfect… but I could be perfect for you.

So, future family, if you’re there – please come and meet me. I’ll be here, wagging my tail and eagerly awaiting the day when I can finally say I’m home.

With all my love and hopeful anticipation,
