Love & Let Live
Every animal deserves a second chance at love — and life. We invite you to be part of the solution and give back to the animals who give us so much.
Tinsel & Tails Holiday Petacular is our premier event celebrating the year’s most remarkable stories of rescue and redemption. You will witness the power of healing and hope that pets bring into our lives when they rescue us – followed by our featured guests’ moment to shine on the runway.
A spectacular silent auction, dinner, golden ticket raffle, and presentation of the year’s most amazing rescue stories will make for an unforgettable evening. Your support as an in-person attendee, sponsor, and/or silent auction item donor makes all the difference in helping us fund our daily operation and life-saving efforts.

Veteran motor sports reporter Jamie Little joined FOX NASCAR in 2015 to cover pit road for the NASCAR CUP SERIES and NASCAR XFINITY SERIES. She has covered 11 Indianapolis 500s and eight Brickyard 400s and has hosted a variety of non-racing sporting events ranging from Paintball Championships to the Great Outdoor Games, in addition to live announcing roles in motocross and Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
Little is extremely active in animal rescue work across the nation. Prior to moving to Indianapolis in late 2017, Little spent much of her free time volunteering at The Animal Foundation, Nevada’s largest animal rescue shelter, and served as its spokesperson. Her first solo charity project was a 2016 calendar titled “Las Vegas to the Rescue,” featuring Las Vegas celebrities posing with homeless pets from the shelter to promote adoption. January 2020, she debuted as a reporter for A&E Network’s new show, “America’s Top Dog.” Most recently, Jamie had the extraordinary opportunity to report on the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the largest dog show in America, airing live on FOX!
Dean Metcalf is the Executive Producer of the nationally-syndicated morning radio program, The Bob & Tom Show. Besides working in comedy, Dean also plays guitar and bass in a few bands. He loves being able to combine his love of music and comedy with his love of animals. One of his bands, The Tempos, donates their time & talent to several fundraising events for charities, including The Friends of Indianapolis Animal Care Services Foundation, where Dean is a board member.
He and his wife Shannon Ross have been involved in the animal welfare community since 1997, when they adopted their very first dog from Humane Society for Hamilton County – Maggie, a sweet English Setter they credit for “teaching us how to dog!” They currently have 3 rescued dogs, including one HSHC alum, a sweet pit mix named Sylvie. Dean has helped at several Tinsel & Tails in the past and says he’s really happy to be back this year to MC.
