Please Note: HSHC requires that there be at least one adult (21 years of age or older) for every four minors. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have their Liability Release & Volunteer Agreement Form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Anticipated Number of Volunteers*
If there are more than 10 people in your group, it is preferred that the group splits into two shifts. Volunteer Groups are unable to work with the animals in our care for liability reasons. Everyone will be required to sign a Liability Release & Volunteer Agreement Form. Email completed form and waivers to volunteerprograms@hamiltonhumane.com.

We can accommodate any day weekday that works best for the group. Wednesdays are our preferred day for large groups as we are closed to the public. Preferred times for groups are Wednesdays between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., and all other days between 9:00am – 12:00pm except for Tuesdays.
