Description Sullie
Sullie
If you are a stranger to me, please don't expect me to come out from under whatever I am hiding under. I am a 1-year-old, 6.3-pound, dark grey-and-white DSH female scaredy-cat. I was also one of the 10 cats transferred to HSHC from a crowded shelter on July 21. I'm also one of the most timid cats in the bunch. My medical examination revealed that I am healthy, already spayed, but extremely fearful and stressed by the changes I experienced. Because so many of my fellow transferees were moving to the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC), I was included in the group. It took me a while to feel brave enough to roam this big space. There were so many windows and so many places to perch or hide. When the interviewer lady (IL) came to see me, I was curled up in a two-decker basket under my friends Dottie and Mimi. I didn't want to sniff her or have her pet me. I felt comfortable with the humans who worked at the SKCC, and I would let them give me some affection. Initially, I liked climbing high to stay out of the way of foot traffic, but by August I could be on the ground in a cozy cubby. So as you have probably already figured out, I will need a longer introduction to my new forever home, people, and pets. I have been staying at the HSHC since September 27. Give me a small, safe space with everything I need so I can slowly get used to my new life. With the right, patient person, I will become the best kitty I can be. 10-13-26
