Poppa Bob (at Smitten Kitten)
No, I have not started up a new pizza chain, and I don't recall being anyone's father, but that's the name I was given when I was found as a stray cat on May 15. I am 5-years-old, already neutered, and using the litter box with no issues. Being a stray and not speaking human, I couldn't tell anyone what my life was like before. But I can tell you I love having a condo with a cozy bed and a big window to watch the goings-on of the cattery. The interviewer lady (IL) stopped by and opened my big door. I quickly stuck my head in her hand to get her to pet me. After a minute or so, I crawled into her lap and commenced purring. I think if she didn't have to visit someone else, I'd still be sitting on her lap, enjoying the warmth and gentle massage. The medical staff noted that I had an irritated left eye, which they treated. They also said I had been "stress grooming" on my side and near the base of my tail. I guess being in the shelter does cause me some anxiety, but it does not stop me from being a friendly, affectionate, charming fellow. If you're looking for a sweet companion, please consider giving me a loving forever home. I can't wait to meet you! 6-19-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
