Peanut
(Needs a Foster)

Good with dogs: Meet & greet
Good with cats: Peanut isn't a fan
Good with kids: Yes
Sweet little Peanut is a friendly, happy dog. This charming, short-statured boy is all about having fun. Despite the stress of shelter life, Peanut still manages to greet everyone who visits with an adorable smile.
He knows how to sit. He keeps a clean kennel, preferring to potty outside. He's good on a leash and walks with minimal pulling. While out walking, he likes to carry a tennis ball in his mouth with a proud prance. You can't help but smile when you see him go!
Peanut is very playful. He loves to play with toys, and he has the most fun when you join him in the fun! He loves tug ropes, tennis balls, and stuffed toys, and he likes playing tag too. After a round of play, he'll snuggle up next to you or in your lap. He is a very cuddly dog who loves to be close to you.
Peanut is a young, passionate dog who could benefit from someone to teach him polite manners. When there's so much fun to be had, who could blame him for getting a little excitable sometimes? He loves treats and he's a good listener, so he'd really appreciate the opportunity to bond with his owner through some basic obedience training.
Happiness is contagious, and Peanut's made it his mission to spread happiness everywhere he goes. He'll make your day better just by sharing it with him. If you're looking for a loving, joyful, loyal dog, bring your family members and any current dogs to come and meet Peanut!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
