With a Loving Home

Good with dogs: Meet & greet
Good with cats: Passed a cat test!
Good with kids: Yes
Dewy is a unique dog in both looks and personality. He has one eye that's fully brown, and one that's half brown and half blue!
He's a smart dog who knows all the basic commands. He's mastered sit, lay down, shake, stay, and come here. Although he came in as a stray, he's shown signs of being housebroken as he prefers to potty outside. He's treat-motivated and enjoys learning new things. He's good on a leash and he likes to keep his nose to the ground while walking, taking in all the scents.
Dewy believes life is better when he's with his friends. He'll happily invite you to join him for his favorite activities. Give him a bone, and he'll lay down over your feet or in your lap while he enjoys it. He loves to play fetch or tug, and after a bit of playtime, he'll snuggle up next to you with his toy. He's very cuddly, and he's always so happy to be loved on.
He's the type of dog who likes to keep his mind and body active. He'd enjoy activities such as puzzle games, romps in a yard, and long walks or hikes. He's a young, lively dog with lots of enthusiasm, and he would thrive under a consistent owner willing to provide plenty of guidance.
Dewy has so much love to give, and he's ready to experience all the fun with you. Come visit this sweet, happy boy and watch him bounce around the play yard – you might just fall in love!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
