Description Hendrix
Hendrix
When I checked into the HSHC, I looked about 25 years old! But I am actually a 3-year-old brown DSH male cat, weighing 7.5 pounds. I am already neutered and use the litter box without fail. I transferred to HSHC from Muncie Animal Care and Services on August 13. I had a nasty skin infection and bilateral ear infections. My skin was scabby, and my coat was missing hair along my neck and chest. Of course, this made me look so much older than I am. However, regardless of how I looked or felt, I remained friendly, positive, and outgoing. The folks here use an acronym to describe new cats. BAR means bright, alert, and responsive, indicating a healthy and mentally normal animal. That's me to a T! After all the medications, ointments, special wipes, and a diet of Z/D prescription food for chronic allergies and possible autoimmune disease, as of October 5, I have improved tremendously! My latest exam said I was BAR and had a great appetite. My skin and coat looked great. On October 1, I met with one adult potential adopter. During the showing, I was curious, confident, and affectionate. Sadly, I didn't get adopted, but that means you still have a chance to make me your best friend! The interviewer lady (IL) told me I was a real charmer and would find my bestie very soon. 10-12-26
