Ruthy is a girl who knows what she wants, and she is looking for someone ready to really get to know her. She is young, she is strong, and on some days, she has more energy than she knows what to do with. What she needs is a person who matches that enthusiasm and knows how to channel it.

She's been working hard in our training program to build great manners, and we can see the hard work paying off. She's been making great progress — we're so proud of her! Her ideal adopter is someone experienced with dogs, who understands positive reinforcement training and is ready to keep her routine going at home. When Ruthy settles in, she is a total snuggler. She leans into pets, climbs into laps, and wants to be wherever her people are. She just needs a little time and the right guidance to get there. She's looking for a home with teens 16 and up so that every member of the family can learn her cues and grow with her together.
