Hello again, cat lovers! I'm back at the HSHC because my owner's health was declining. I was first dropped off as a stray cat in December 2025 and adopted a few days later. However, I struggled to adjust to living with the resident cat. We just never reached a place of comfort with each other, so after 4 months, I was returned to the HSHC. My second owner said I was a "cool cat" who loved sitting in his lap and would stay there until he moved me. I really loved being with my owner and always wanted him close by. I've been known to give love nips while purring, but not a true bite. A cardboard scratcher or a cat tree satisfies my scratching cravings. I am super curious and a major fan of interactive playtime. The interviewer lady (IL) and I played together for a long time, and I could have kept it up much longer. I would love to chase a laser pointer (turn it off so I think I caught it), play with fishing-pole string toys I can catch, and other activities I can share with you. I will seek you out when I want your loving attention. When I'm feeling lovey-dovey, I can be picked up and held like a baby for a while. I am an enigma-independent, yet I want to be with my people. I can become overstimulated during play, so please watch for my signals. I especially liked the 16-year-old family member who read my body language well. I am only 2-years, 8-months-old and still trying to figure out my place in the world. My medical exam revealed I had urinary crystals, which is a very painful condition. The HSHC put me on the Hill's C/D diet, and this has successfully reduced my crystals. I never had problems using my litter box in my last home. I will need a very slow, lengthy introduction to any cats you might have. I'm a bit chubby at 15.4 pounds, but more playtime will help! Because I've been a guest at the HSHC 2 times, you cannot take me home today. We will need to meet a couple of times to make sure we are the right fit for each other! 9-14-26
