Dogs – Bring yours by for a meet and greet!
Cats – I prefer a feline free home!
Kids – Yes, older kiddos may be best
Meet Monet! This beautiful 5 year old German Shepherd is looking for someone who understands that a big dog can still have a sensitive side.
Monet is affectionate, enjoys being close to her person, and likes attention from people she trusts. She also did wonderfully for grooming here, which is a pretty great detail for a shepherd with all that coat. She hopped right into the tub and let staff pamper her like a pro.
Shelter life can be hard on dogs like Monet. She is a smart, strong dog who can get jumpy when excited and can startle at times, so she will do best with someone who can give her clear guidance and help her settle into a routine. Because of that, older kids may be the better fit for her.
If you love German Shepherds and have a soft spot for the ones who need a little help finding their footing, Monet could be a really special match.
Important Notice: A “meet and greet” with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current dogs, especially if traveling from afar. Cats are not required for a meet and greet.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
