About Kronk
Dogs: Meet & Greet
Cats: Not a good fit
Kids: Yes, 14+ is best for this boy
Kronk has become a familiar face around here, and honestly, that just means we've gotten to know him really well. He's a sweet, lanky boy who wants so badly to get things right. He tries with his whole heart. He just didn't get the early life experiences he needed, so the big, unpredictable world can feel like a lot. New noises, fast movements, and unfamiliar sights can throw him off, and he looks to his people for reassurance and routine.
Once he feels comfortable, his whole personality pops out. Kronk turns into a total goofball who makes you laugh without even trying! He wags with his entire body. He trips over his own legs when he gets excited. He'll chase a toy like it's the most important mission of his life, then flop over for a snuggle. He's crate trained, loves fetch and tug, and greets new people politely once he realizes they're friendly.
Little kids are still a mystery to him. They move fast, make sudden noises, and their energy keeps him guessing. Teens and up are a much better match since he already understands adults and settles more easily with calmer, steadier people.
There is so much good in this dog. So much try. So much heart. He's the kind of dog who blossoms when someone gives him time to adjust and gentle guidance. If you've been hoping to help a dog grow into his best self, come meet Kronk. We think he'll surprise you in the best way!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
