Who is Waylon?

Waylon, or “Way Way” as his favorite people call him, is a current resident at the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Waylon has been waiting over a year for his chance to find a forever home. Waylon has easily become a staff and volunteer favorite during his time at the shelter. He is ready to finally find a permanent address and a place to call home.

Perfect Home

Waylon is looking for a home where everyone is 18 and older.
If there are other dogs in his home, they need to be medium-large in size.
He needs a home without cats.
He would love to find a home where his people are home often!

Waylon's Fosters

Waylon has been able to spend some time with a foster family while he waits for a forever family. Here is what they have to say about him:

“For the two weeks we had Waylon, the majority of his time with us was spent snuggling with a blanket on our couch. We let him sleep on our bed at night. During our meal times, Waylon would usually sit quietly near our dinner table, hoping for a scrap or opportunity to lick someone’s plate.”

“He enjoys riding in a car and enjoys his walks. I haven’t known Waylon to be a tennis ball chaser but he occasionally likes to play with a squeaky toy.”
