If you are a fan of The Office, you know I was named after the spectacular character who was the assistant to the regional manager, Michael Scott. I don't have a beet farm or a bed and breakfast, but I am a very nice cat. I am 7-years-old, underweight at 8.5 pounds, and I am an orange and white DSH male. I was neutered years ago. I was rehomed to my owner's cousin, who gave me to a friend. He is moving and can't take me with him. My original owner did not want me back, so I am now up for grabs! I have lived with a Bulldog, and we got along fine; when he wanted to play, I'd leave. I interacted with grandkids ages 10 months and 12 years old. I was not afraid of them. With new people, I would hide for a minute, then come out to see them. I have never, ever had litter box problems. The HSHC did a physical exam and said I could use a dental cleaning and needed to put on some weight. Lucky for me, I moved to the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC) on August 28. I was a little timid at first and tended to stay in the back room, which is off-limits to customers. But now I'm feeling braver and willing to be out and about with the other cats and people. The interviewer lady (IL) commented on my long legs and how tall I was. She noticed that I am still a little skittish when it comes to interacting for more than a few minutes. But I am a gentle boy who needs a patient, kind cat-lover to adopt me. Are you up for it? 9-8-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
