WE ARE IN CRISIS
Fill Your Heart, Not Your Cart
THE NEED IS URGENT
Join us Friday, November 24th, for our “priceless” adoption event. We are in crisis mode and receiving an unprecedented amount of animals. We will be open 12-5:00 p.m. with hundreds of furry friends for you to meet and fall in love with. Get here early and make sure you’ve filled out an adoption application!
With nearly 600 animals in our care, we are in desperate need of adopters. When you adopt from us on Friday, you will be making room for another animal whose life depends on that open space.
As the love of a pet is priceless, we will ask adopters to make a donation –
of any amount – at the time of adoption.
OUR CAPACITY CRISIS
Due to the unprecedented number of animals in our care, we will be closing on Tuesdays & Thursday at 5pm to ensure that our team has adequate time to provide quality care to the HUNDREDS of animals in our facility. If you would like to help please: Adopt. Foster. Donate. Volunteer.
Everyday, for months now, more animals have been arriving than getting adopted. That number has continued to increase as both of the primary shelters in Marion County are either limiting or have completely closed intake.
More animals are being abandoned than ever before. Hit-by-car and other serious injuries are on the rise. Between the Hamilton County animals who need us, and those who are being abandoned and then coming in as strays, we are housing animals in offices, every visiting room, employees & volunteers are taking animals home, and we are still out of space.
What Can You Do?
We need adopters. We need fosters. We need YOU.
