Meet Your Match

We love matchmaking, especially the pet/people kind! Check our lists of adoptable dogs and adoptable cats  frequently, and come visit the shelter to meet our animals. We encourage you to keep an open mind about dog vs. cat, breeds, coloring, age, temperament and other pre-conceived ideas about your “perfect pet.” Most of the time, your furry soulmate is nothing like you expected!

Before you come in to adopt, please be sure to bring a government issued ID with current address and a copy of your residence’s pet policy!

    They Need You

Make a significant impact and adopt one of our Featured Animals. These precious pets have been waiting longer, have severely declined, or have medical situations that require an adopter with a whole lot of love to give. Is that you?

    Precious Pooches

Are you ready to find the new love of your life? Because our pups come and go so quickly, we can’t guarantee any of the dogs listed online will be available when you’re ready to adopt. Please come visit us in person to meet your new best friend face to face. Love at first bark? That’s our favorite kind.

    Fabulous Felines

If you find your favorite feline face in our online listings, we can’t guarantee he or she will be available for you when you arrive. Our cats come and go quickly, so the best way to ensure your furry friend goes home with you (rather than someone else) is to come meet him or her face to face in the shelter ASAP!

    Adoption Process

    Adoption Policies

There are a few things you should know as you consider adopting a new pet. Check out our adoption policies and remember: We can only accept a hold on an animal if you have a pre-approved application and have already met (and fallen in love) with an animal.

Not Quite Ready to Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.

Love & Let Live

Every animal deserves a second chance at love — and life. We invite you to be part of the solution and give back to the animals who give us so much.
