DESCRIPTION:Get moving at the Woofstock Survivor 5K & Dog Walk at Four Day Ray Brewing! You and the whole family can run\, walk or jog this 5K course – leashed and in-stroller pups included. With awesome finisher medals\, shirts and swag\, you won’t want to miss this 5K benefiting HSHC’s Survivor Program.\n\nThe Survivor Program provides life-saving medical care to animals in need. Help us raise $70\,000 and save the lives by starting a fundraiser and sharing it with your friends and family on social media!\n\nRegister Early for the Best Rate:• January 31 – July 16\, 2024: $45 each• July 17 – August 9\, 2024: $55 each• Race Day Walk-Up Registration Fee – $60.00\n\n Race Day Walk-Up Fee includes medal and complimentary drink ticket only. Event shirts will only be provided to walk-up registrants as supplies last and sizes are not guaranteed–on a first come\, first serve basis–immediately following the race. Please note medals may not be available on race day for walk-up registrants and may take up to 6 weeks to arrive at HSHC. You will be notified when they are available for pick up. Medals may be shipped for an additional $15 fee.\n\n For registration after July 16th\, t-shirt sizes not guaranteed. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, August 24th\, the Humane Society for Hamilton County will take part in the annual Clear the Shelters adoption event to alleviate our ongoing capacity emergency. \nIn place of the traditional adoption fees\, eligible animals will be just $10 in honor of Clear the Shelters’ 10th Anniversary. All adoptions include a free one-month supply of preventatives\, spay/neuter\, microchip\, age-appropriate vaccines\, start bag of food\, and wellness exam at a participating veterinarian. The first 50 families who walk through the door will receive a goody bag. \nThings to know for the Clear the Shelters adoption event: \n\nThose interested in adopting or fostering a cat or dog can fill out an application in advance at hshcadoptions.com.\nAll members of the household\, canine and human\, are required to meet potential dogs – bring everyone!\nOnly human family members are required to meet potential cats.\nAll adopters are required to present government-issued ID.\nIf you rent your home/apartment\, bring your pet policy with you. Reaching landlords can be difficult on the weekend.\nDon’t forget to bring an open heart.\n\nIn addition to finding a pet to complete your family\, you won’t want to miss our amazing partners on-site with giveaways and items for purchase\, Napleton Auto\, TNT Hot Dogs\, Star Heating & Cooling\, Renewal by Andersen\, and Brewies Dog Treats. \nAbout Clear the Shelters\nClear the Shelters™ / Desocupar Los Albergues® is an annual\, nationwide pet adoption campaign that is spearheaded by NBCUniversal Local\, a division of NBCUniversal.
