Description Milo
Milo
If you asked me to describe myself, I would have to say I'm a bit like Woody Allen. I'm not the bravest or the toughest cat in the bunch. I am friendly and easygoing, but a bit of a worrywart or a nervous nelly. I was found as a stray kitten and have lived with my owner and four other cats all my life. I'm now 3-years-old. All the other cats were much more confident than I, and they took pleasure in staring me down, chasing me, and starting conflicts. I guess I'm just a chicken. If I tried to run away, they wouldn't let me go. It was absolutely terrifying. Add to this stressful situation the fact that my owner was in the process of moving, and one of the cats had an unexpected delivery of kittens, and my anxiety level hit the roof. However, if I am the only cat in the home, I am so relaxed and content. I don't have a worried or stressful thought. I demonstrate my love by jumping into your lap and staying there! If you pet me and I don't want you to stop, I will grab your hand to pull you back. I delight in being held like a baby and will stay in your arms for as long as you'll let me. I get along great with humans and will coexist with dogs. I am a playful, energetic boy, and my favorite toys are string toys, rattlers, and balls to chase. I even earn my living by hunting the mice in the garage. The interviewer lady (IL) found me to be very sweet-natured and lovable. I let her pet me all over and was a cuddly fellow with her. I will need an understanding owner who will give me plenty of time to adjust to my new home. I could probably live with another easygoing, gentle cat who does not try to intimidate me. Follow the recommendations from the Feline Care Specialists when you decide to adopt me, and my transition to your home will be a success. 4-6-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
