Dogs – Bring your dog for a meet & greet
Cats – Passed his cat test
Kids – Yes, 10+
Dorito is a tiny senior Chihuahua with a prancy little walk and a whole lot of personality packed into his small frame. After his person passed away, a kind friend took care of him for a bit. Now Dorito is hoping to find a cozy home and someone to love him just as he is.
Dorito is hoping for a home that understands little dogs sometimes like their space. He enjoys affection when he is in the mood, but he is not a fan of being picked up or handled too much, especially around his feet or mouth. Because of that, he would do best with kids ages 10 and up who can respect his boundaries and let him move at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, Dorito has a softer side. He loves to burrow under blankets and curl up somewhere cozy. He was also a very good boy for his bath and nail trim, and he looked especially cute in his little blue sweater afterward.
Dorito may be tiny, but he knows what he likes, and he is hoping to find someone who will love him for exactly who he is. If that sounds like your kind of dog, come meet Dorito!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
