Bunny is a silver-colored boy with a cute red nose who is playful and affectionate. He's been polite and respectful while here at the shelter. Though he came in as a stray, he displays lots of characteristics that would make him a great pet!

He knows Sit and Come here, and he listens well. He takes treats gently. He prefers to potty outside rather than in his kennel, indicating he was housebroken.

He is a very snuggly guy who leans into you as you pet him, giving you a contented smile. He likes to sit next to you or on your lap. He especially loves having his cheeks rubbed. He will give polite hugs and soft kisses, but only if invited.

He enjoys playing with stuffies especially, and he confidently approaches everyone he meets to say hello, people and dogs alike. If he's carrying a toy, he'll often drop or toss it to whoever's nearby, offering to play. He enjoys going for walks and sniffing around along the trail.

Bunny is a sweet, happy guy. He's the kind of dog who will easily brighten your day. He's so ready to be part of a family again and he would love to meet you! Bring any household members and dogs with you when you come by to ask about him.

Important Notice: A “meet and greet” with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current dogs, especially if traveling from afar. Cats are not required for a meet and greet.

Adoption Hours: Daily 12-5PM, closed Wednesdays. No appointment needed, unless the dog or cat is in foster! Apply and then call us at 317-773-4974 to set up a meet and greet with an pet in foster care.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
