Well, hi there folks! They gave me this name when I showed up as a stray cat on February 1. So you can call me Daffy, DD, Ducky, or anything you like, but don't call me late to dinner. Ba-dum-bump!! I am a 1-year-old, 6.8-pound, solid grey fellow who was sickly when I arrived. I had infected wounds near the base of my tail. But even more painful than those were the ear infections I had in both ears. OUCH! The medical staff put me on medications and gave me treatments to help me recover. I think they fell in love with me because I was such a sweet-natured boy who purred and made biscuits during my examination. On Valentine's Day, I moved to a foster home to relax and heal. My foster mom (FM) and I were like chocolate and ice cream-fantastic! She gave the interviewer lady (IL) such a wonderful report card on my progress; it made me blush.
I have been using the litter box like a pro. A+
I have been perfectly well-behaved with no concerning behaviors at all; a sweetheart. A+
Initially a bit shy, I meow to get FM's attention, get excited at the prospect of petting, and will lie down asking for belly rubs and pets, gently moving your hands where I want some petting. A+
I haven't met any new animals yet, but I warmed up to FM and her boyfriend easy-peasy. A+
Lap-cat potential-100%. I love to cuddle! A+
Picky about food? No sir. I eat everything, and I love my treats! A+
Adorability quotient? I am adorable without even knowing it. I follow FM around the whole cat room, jumping up on the cat trees, cat window shelves, and climbing shelves every time she taps on one. A+
Sociability? She thinks I will be successful with kids and other cats. A+
Favorite activities? String toys, catnip, and cat scratchers! A+
Don't you agree this is proof that I will make my future owner very pleased they met me! 2-23-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
