Description Tatum
Tatum
You should never count your chickens before they hatch, as they say. My life has taken a sharp turn in another direction. Our owner surrendered my sister and me to HSHC on November 19. We were stray kittens he found, and we lived with him all our lives. I am now 9-years-old. My sis and I were very close, but she became ill and had to be separated from me. I remained healthy, and the HSHC feels that I can be adopted by myself. I recently moved into a Roaming Room because I am a sociable kind of fellow who gets along with other cats just fine. The other day, the interviewer lady (IL) came to talk with me. I immediately came out of my Kitty Kasa to greet her with some nose kisses and head butts. Although I do not require constant attention, I enjoyed staying close to her while she took notes. I found the notebook she was using was the ideal place to sit for a while. The other cats in the room were still getting used to each other and often hissed at one another. However, I stayed quiet and out of the melee. Of course, I am already neutered and litterbox trained. I am a good-sized, ruggedly handsome brown tabby fellow. According to the IL, I am not only good-looking, but I'm also polite, friendly, and lovable. Even though I pictured living with my sister and will always remember her fondly, I think I will be happy living in a home with other friendly cats. My chickens can now hatch without worrying about how many there are. 1-14-26

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
