About Symphony
A kind Noblesville Police Officer found me and my five babies on September 9 and took us to the HSHC. It is a good thing because I weighed only 6.2 pounds. All my nutrition was going into my nursing kittens. We moved into a foster home right away, and I felt a great sense of relief to be in a loving home. I've never been someone's treasured pet before, and it was life-changing. My foster mom (FM) began caring for us when my kittens were five days old. She called me Olive, since I had olive colored eyes. When I arrived, I was even skinnier, and FM was worried I'd not have enough milk to provide for the babies. But I was a diligent momma and made sure they were always fed and clean. I ate as much as I could of both wet and dry food. We stayed with our FM until the kittens were weaned. If you ask FM about me, she will tell you I am well-behaved, calm, social, and affectionate. I didn't mind if people were close to my kittens and never hissed or showed anger. Things I love include: being petted, jumping up high, and perching in the windows to watch the world go by! The thing I hate: having my nails trimmed-but I'll let you do it if you hold me tightly and do it quickly. I have excellent litter box habits. I wasn't very playful, but I was very busy taking care of my little family. When I got back to the shelter, I was given a medical check-up to be sure I was healthy and was given meds to clear up a UTI. I visited with the interviewer lady (IL) today, and she was shocked to see how thin I am, but with some TLC and healthy food, I should begin to gain weight. I loved being rubbed and scratched on my head, ears, neck, and chin. The HSHC thinks I am 3-years-old and they made sure I was spayed. I am now ready to move into my new, forever home. I think I can bring happiness and love into your life right away. 11-4-25

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
