Description Quincy
Quincy's Compatibility:
Dogs – Has done well meeting other dogs
Cats – Passed his cat test
Kids – Adult home preferred

Quincy is 6 years old and full of character! This hound mix loves being outside, following his nose, and checking out everything going on around him. He enjoys his walks, has done well meeting other dogs, and once he's comfortable, he can be playful and social. And yes, he will absolutely "talk" to you in true hound fashion when he's ready for dinner or a stroll!

Quincy is housebroken, crate-trained, and will do just about anything for a treat or a squeaky toy. If you've got snacks, you've got his full attention! He likes knowing what to expect and does best with a steady routine. Quincy is a smart guy who loves praise and a calm, confident leader.

Quincy is looking for an adult home that gets him and can offer patience and consistency. He's not a lost cause-he just needs the right match. Give him the right environment, and you'll see all his personality and loyalty shine through. If you love hounds and appreciate a dog with opinions, Quincy might just be your guy!

Important Notice: A “meet and greet” with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current dogs, especially if traveling from afar. Cats are not required for a meet and greet.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
