About Piper McLean

Dogs – Selective, meet and greet required
Cats – No, thank you
Kids – Yes, all ages
Piper McLean is a lovely senior lady who has mastered the art of being a very good dog. She spent the last few years in a home full of foster children and did wonderfully. Piper is gentle, patient, and sweet with kids of all ages. If you're looking for a calm and affectionate dog who knows how to roll with family life, she might be the perfect match.
She is housebroken, crate trained, and trustworthy in the home. Piper enjoys belly rubs, soft spots to nap, and quiet time with her people. And while she's mostly mellow, she still has a little pep in her step. She may not be bouncing off the walls, but she is not quite ready for full-time retirement either.
Piper is polite with visitors, and if things get a little too loud or busy, she simply trots off to a quieter room like the wise old soul she is. When it comes to other dogs, she prefers her space. Piper has had some mixed experiences and may do well with the right match, but she needs slow, respectful introductions. We're happy to set up a meet and greet to see if it's a good fit.
Piper has spent her life giving love. Now she is ready to soak it all in. Come meet Piper. She is sweet, soulful, and ready to brighten your home!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
