Description Queen Caesar
Queen Caesar
On March 16, 2025, a nearly irreversible mistake was about to be made. That was the day I was surrendered to the HSHC. My paperwork labeled me as "King Caesar" when in fact, I am Queen Caesar! I am a 7-year-old Calico cat, spayed and litterbox savvy. I was found as a stray kitten and lived with my family all my life. However, my life became intolerable when the two resident cats began bullying me. They prevented me from approaching the food and water dishes and the litterbox. I was terrified of them and would avoid them by running and hiding. This was so stressful! I stayed away from the litterbox, even though I knew better. My owners kept me in the garage to separate me from the other cats, and I used the litterbox like a champ. They decided to let me back into the house, and the litterbox avoidance started again. I got along well with the child in the home and had a playful relationship with the family Chihuahua. Trying to avoid those darn bullies gave me so much anxiety. I recently did my interview with the interviewer lady, and she was so pleased to spend time with me. She told me I was truly a beautiful cat, and my coat looked as if it was patterned like a patchwork quilt. I was friendly and sociable with her, and she gave me a lovely massage. I hope my new home will have only friendly, welcoming cats that my owner will introduce me to GRADUALLY, with the understanding that this is crucial for my well-being! 4-15-25

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
