Description Alex
Alex
Hold onto your hats, guys! The interviewer lady (IL) has fallen hard for my charming personality and affectionate nature. My owner surrendered me to the Westfield Police Department in early March. And no, I don't know why. But I'm so happy to be at the HSHC, where my severe dental disease and upset tummy have been examined and treated. I am now missing 22 teeth, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying my room service meals. I am feeling much better, and the Z/D diet they've prescribed for me has really helped control my chronic allergies. I am 7-years-old, neutered, and litterbox trained. Even though I didn't feel my best when the medical staff inspected me, I was bright, alert, responsive, and friendly throughout the evaluation. I've become a staff and volunteer favorite. The interviewer lady (IL) melted when I gave her a few head butts, rubbed against her cheek, and pressed myself into her neck. I even put my paw on her shoulder to get closer to her. I have a short, solid black coat with a sprinkling of white on my chest. Due to my limited number of teeth, my tongue tip may appear, which some folks say is adorable. I'm not a very big fellow at 7.8 pounds, so I won't weigh you down if I'm on your lap. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loving companion, please consider adopting me. I promise to fill your life with love and affection. 4-15-25

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
