About Kitty Cat

You may be surprised to learn that I was surrendered to HSHC because I was unwanted. I certainly was shocked! I was purchased from Petsmart about three years ago for the daughter. I lived with the family for most of my life. Recently, the daughter became too busy with school, and her parents did not want to take care of me, so on March 3, I was brought to the HSHC. Here is what I know about my history. I have successfully lived with dogs and 10, 12, and 14-year-old children. Younger kids are a bit much for me to handle. My instinct is to run and hide from strangers. My hobbies include sunbathing, bird watching, and sleeping with my owners. Six months ago, I had nail caps placed upon my claws. They are beautiful, and I like to look my best. Having never lived with cats, I am unsure how I feel about them. We moved to a new house in January, which I found alarming! But aside from having my feelings hurt for being kicked out of my home, I am a reasonably happy camper. The interviewer lady told me I have a cute little figure and a sweet personality. I loved all the pets and scratches she gave me. I have a soft black and white coat, a bubblegum pink nose, and only one eye. I have no idea why I'm missing my right eye, but it's been gone a long time, and I don't miss it. Upon arriving at HSHC, I found out I have had a UTI for a while, and the crystals are quite painful. I am 4-years-old, spayed, and now I'm eating C/D food to help me avoid crystals in my urine. In my new home, I will need my own small room with everything I need to live so I can settle in gradually. The HSHC staff can fill you in on the best way to introduce me to your home. I'll be waiting for you! 4-14-25

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
