Description Antoni
Antoni
Please pronounce my name an'-tone-ee. I'm not some highfalutin' fancy cat. To be honest, I am a homeless 2-year-old fellow rescued from another shelter with loads of health issues. I had to go to an animal hospital to get a blood transfusion due to anemia from the bajillions of fleas dining on me! I was also skinny and tested positive for FeLV– Feline Leukemia. (FeLV) is a virus that suppresses my immune system. FeLV can be spread to other cats through saliva, bite wounds, and sexual behavior. FeLV+ cats should not live with FeLV- cats. My life expectancy cannot be predicted, but, in general, I will have a shorter life than a FeLV- cat. That does not mean I can't enjoy life or experience the joys of being someone's pet. If you decide to adopt me, know that you are doing a very noble thing. You are giving a chance to a cat that doesn't have much of a chance. Although I may not live for a long time, our lives together can be filled with happiness for both of us. I feel so much better now that I have been given the medical attention I needed. The cattery care specialists here know I am a sweetheart ready to move to my forever home. Any takers? 4-1-25

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
