During his time with a caring foster family-complete with some awesome middle schoolers-he charmed everyone with his affectionate nature: greeting visitors with tender kisses, trailing his foster like a devoted shadow, and even leading the way outside when it was time for a potty break.
Handsome's impeccable manners made a lasting impression-no accidents, patient mealtime behavior, and a quiet, comforting presence at night. He delights in daily walks and jogs, effortlessly keeping pace on a three-mile run and enjoying long, leisurely strolls through wooded parks (just watch out for his keen interest in squirrels and rabbits!). His playful side truly comes alive during fetch sessions, especially when chasing tennis balls, and he never misses a chance for a good tug-of-war.

1-4 years: $100
5-9 years: $55

Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.
A "meet and greet" with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current pets, especially if traveling from afar.
Adoption Hours: Open daily at 12 PM, except Wednesdays. No appointment needed!

Adoption Hours: Daily 12-5PM, closed Wednesdays. No appointment needed, unless the dog or cat is in foster! Apply and then call us at 317-773-4974 to set up a meet and greet with an pet in foster care.

*The non-refundable hold fee is $40.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
