Description Phinneas
Phinneas' Compatibility:
Dogs – Has the potential to be a great doggy friend-just needs a meet & greet to make sure it's a good fit!
Cats – Would do best in a home without feline friends.
Kids – Yes, 14+

Phinneas is a young, enthusiastic pup with a heart full of love and a brain that's just waiting to soak up all the training and guidance he's never had. He's pure fun on four legs-silly, playful, and always excited to be part of the action. He sometimes gets a little too excited and acts like a big puppy who never quite learned the rules. But no one ever taught him how to be a polite gentleman! Shelter staff and volunteers have been helping him learn with toys and redirection, and he's already making great strides. In a home, with consistency and patience, he'll only get better.

Because he's a big personality with lots of energy, Phinneas is looking for a home without cats and with kids 14+ who can help him continue learning without being overwhelmed. He'd also love to meet any potential dog siblings to make sure they're a good match!

Phinneas is a diamond in the rough-full of love, personality, and potential. He just needs someone to show him the way. Training isn't just for him-it's a chance to build an incredible bond, to help him grow into his best self, and to watch him flourish into the loyal, loving companion he's meant to be. If you're ready to give him that chance, Phinneas is ready to give you his whole heart.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
