About Champ

Dogs – Yes! Champ has a rough-and-tumble play style
Cats – Champ politely declines any feline friends
Kids – Yes, teens are more his speed!
Champ is a playful, medium-sized pup (barely 50 pounds) with energy to burn and a heart full of love. He has already mastered an impressive list of tricks: sit, down, shake, place, spin, and wait. He is always excited to show them off, especially if there is a treat involved. Champ is also a gentleman in the car, happily settling in the backseat like your favorite co-pilot. Bonus points if that ride includes a stop for nuggets.
Champ has lived with multiple dogs and loves to play. He just needs a proper introduction and a buddy who can match his enthusiasm. He has a bouncy spirit, but he listens well with guidance and is eager to keep learning. He is doing great with crate training and is looking for a calm, steady home with teens or adults who will continue helping him build confidence. This is a dog who thrives on connection, positive reinforcement, and feeling like part of the team.
Champ is ready for his fresh start. Tennis balls, treats, and tail wags included. Come meet him and see why everyone is cheering for this guy!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
