Kids – No little ones, please-he's looking for a home with an 18+ guest list

Meet Nado! This young, high-energy pup is smart, eager to learn, and ready to take on the world with his future family. He recently completed a two-week stay & train at Paws and Play, where he worked on his leash skills, learned how to trade toys politely, and mastered some basic obedience. And here's the best part-his adopters will receive a free exit lesson with his trainer to keep the progress going!

No one ever showed Nado the ropes when he was younger, so he's still learning how to navigate the world. It's not his fault he needs some extra guidance-he's just making up for lost time! He can be a bit rambunctious when he's excited, so he's looking for an adult-only home that can keep up with his training. With structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he'll be an incredible companion.

While he's a little too enthusiastic about other dogs right now, he's working on his leash manners and focus. He'll thrive with adopters who understand his needs and are committed to setting him up for success. HSHC recommends continued training, and we can even provide resources to help!

Looking for an athletic, fun-loving, and wicked smart dog to train, adventure with, and be your loyal sidekick? Nado is ready and waiting!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
