Description Midnight Skye
Midnight Skye's Compatibility:
Dogs – Yes! He loves his canine pals
Cats – Passed his cat test!
Kids – Yes, 10+

Midnight Skye is a big personality with an even bigger heart-and yes, his name is just as cool as he is. He's housebroken, crate-trained (with a treat, of course), and absolutely lives for water play. Kiddie pools, garden hoses, puddles-he's all in.

He's got great dog skills, too! Midnight Skye has lived with a small dog and done beautifully. He's also been to doggy daycare where he made tons of four-legged friends and had the time of his life. Off-leash, he's all about playtime and socializing. On leash? He's still figuring things out. He can be vocal and pull hard when he sees other dogs or people, so continued training will help him feel more confident and less frustrated in those moments.

He's a huge fan of fetch, loves a good splash, and has the sweetest self-soothing habit of gently sucking on blankets when he's feeling sleepy or content. Midnight Skye would do best in a home with kids 10+ who can understand and respect his boundaries. He can be unsure with unfamiliar visitors at first, so a calm, predictable home where introductions are slow and positive will help him thrive. He's also got a bit of an adventurous streak, so secure fences and closed doors are a must-because if there's an open car door nearby, he's hopping in.

If you're ready for a loyal companion with a goofy side, a gentle heart, and a great fetch game, Midnight Skye might just be the perfect match.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
