Sherman is a three-year-old pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's the kind of dog who keeps life fun, whether he's doing laps in the yard, snuggling up on the couch, or proudly showing off his tug skills.

He's housebroken, crate trained, and muzzle trained, and while he might whine a little when he knows you're nearby, it's just because he wants to be part of the fun. Sherman is a smart cookie who thrives with structure and routine, and he loves having a job to do (especially if it involves treats).

He's enjoyed playtime with other dogs, but when it comes to toys and meals, he prefers to keep those to himself. Fair enough, right? A calm, adult-only home will help Sherman feel secure and give him the space he needs to keep building confidence.

Leash walking is still a bit of a team sport for Sherman…he's got the strength of a sled dog and the enthusiasm to match, but with a confident handler and continued training, he's making great strides!

Sherman is sweet, goofy, and endlessly entertaining. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind dog who's full of love and ready for adventure, Sherman is your guy!

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?

You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
