recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Tony Stewart
Foundation (TSF). These funds are designated to the Humane

31st. The first 150 pets will be microchipped free of charge

A Lasting Donation
Tree of Life honors gifts to Humane
Society for Hamilton County
Donations – both monetary and in-kind – are essential to
continuing the financial health of the Humane Society for
Hamilton County (HSHC).
Recognizing this fact, the HSHC recently established a
“Tree of Life” mural in the shelter’s lobby that honors
those who donate $150 or more. For each donation, a leaf
will be painted onto the mural with the donor’s name. Leaves
range from gold to platinum depending on the donation amount
and may also be dedicated in memory of a loved one or pet.

organic foods retailers, today announced they will donate
$2,000 from Newman’s Own Organics to the Humane Society for
Hamilton County at the Dog Days of Summer pet event.

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series drivers Greg Biffle and Ryan
Newman will be autographing the 2006 NASCAR Pets Calendar on

booth in the Pagoda Plaza at the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway.
