NOBLESVILLE, Ind., November 27, 2007 – $20,000 was awarded to The Humane Society for Hamilton County by the Hirst Family Charitable Fund, a fund of Legacy Fund Community Foundation. Indiana State Championship Chili Cookoff

Noblesville, Ind., Sept. 12, 2007 – A statewide Chili Cook-off will be held at 12pm on Saturday, Sept. 22nd at the Westfield Town Hall, 130 Penn St., Westfield, Indiana.

The event is open to the public with a $5 admission to taste the Chili. Each paid admission gets five voting tickets for the People’s Choice Chili. The team with the most votes from the public will win a trophy. more >>>

Plans move into new $2.3 million shelter

Noblesville, Ind., Oct. 5, 2006 – Starting Monday, October 16th, the HSHC will begin its move to a brand new $2.3 million facility located at 1721 Pleasant Street. A Lasting Donation
Tree of Life honors gifts to Humane Society for Hamilton County

Donations – both monetary and in-kind – are essential to continuing the financial health of the Humane Society for Hamilton County (HSHC).

Recognizing this fact, the HSHC recently established a “Tree of Life” mural in the shelter’s lobby that honors those who donate $150 or more. For each donation, a leaf will be painted onto the mural with the donor’s name. Leaves range from gold to platinum depending on the donation amount and may also be dedicated in memory of a loved one or pet. more >>>
