Wild Oats Offers
Custom-Made Dog House
to Benefit the Humane Society for Hamilton County
***Raffle Tickets on Sale Dec. 1***
Noblesville, Ind. – As part of The Humane Society for
Hamilton County’s (HSHC) Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Drive,
Wild Oats in Clay Terrace will sell raffle tickets beginning
Dec. 1 for a custom-made, 4-by-4 dog house valued at $500
with the proceeds benefiting HSHC. The dog house was built
courtesy of Circle City Craftsmen and materials donated by
Home Depot of Noblesville.
Sales of the tickets will continue through Jan. 1 with an
announcement of the winner during the first week of January.
Ticket prices are one ticket for $5, three tickets for $10
and five tickets for $15. The winner will get free delivery
of the doghouse within a 20-mile radius of Wild Oats.
The goal of HSHC is to reach 250 adoptions of cats and
dogs during the Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Drive, taking
place now through Jan. 6.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Wild Oats on this
holiday fundraiser,” said Rebecca Stevens, executive
director of HSHC. “As a private, non-profit organization we
count on the efforts of local businesses like Wild Oats and
the donations of individuals to help keep our shelter and
its programs running.”
Home 4 the Holidays began in 1999 when Helen Woodward
Animal Center organized 14 San Diego area shelters, finding
homes for 2,563 orphaned pets. Each pet went home with a
holiday meal of Iams food and a booklet of coupons
redeemable at PETCO. In 2002, Home 4 the Holidays grew to
1,200 shelters and rescues in 20 countries, completing
180,000 adoptions.
