Humane Society for Hamilton County hosts “Walk For The
Animals”
fundraising event
Noblesville, Ind., January 18, 2006 – Put your walking
shoes on and bring Sparky to the Humane Society for Hamilton
County’s Walk For The Animals on Saturday, May 19th. A day
of fun for you and Sparky includes educational displays by
area businesses, goody bags, t-shirts, photos, microchipping,
prizes and entertainment. Walk with your pet, family and
friends and help improve animal welfare by raising money for
the shelter.
The dollars raised from this event will help feed, house,
provide medical care, find homes for, and love the over 3000
homeless, abused and neglected animals the HSHC helps every
year.
The event takes place at Cool Creek Park off 151st Street
and US 31. The event will be from 9am to 1pm. You can
pre-register by contacting Suzanne Yoder at syoder@hamiltonhumane.com.
Registration will be $20 per adult (in advance) and $10 per
child 6-17 (in advance). Visit www.hamiltonhumane.com for
details on the upcoming event.
The Humane Society for Hamilton County would like to
thank Hamilton County Parks & Recreation for use of the park
for this fundraising event.
The mission of the Humane Society for Hamilton County
(HSHC) is to provide a compassionate and healthy environment
for the homeless animals in our care until they can be
placed into permanent, loving homes. The HSHC strives to
promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering
caused by pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by offering
low cost spay/neuter solutions and education.
